Jiang Caishi introduced that in recent years,China People's Insurance Company has completely, accurately and comprehensively implemented the new development concept, focused on the national strategic deployment and social development process, accelerated the construction and optimization of the appropriate economic structure, and solidly carried out five major articles such as green finance. In 2024, the company's green insurance will provide more than 175 trillion yuan in risk protection, with a green investment scale of 39 billion yuan. In the first eight months of this year, green insurance provided 18.6 billion yuan in risk protection, a year-on-year increase of 33%.
According to Jiangcaishi, with the joint efforts of the entire industry, sustainable finance has made great progress and positive results in recent years. At the same time, we also face some practical challenges in guiding financial resources to greener, more inclusive and more resilient fields.
