The 2025 Sustainable Global Leaders Conference will be held from October 16 to 18 at the Expo Park in Huangpu District, Shanghai City.
Talking about my feelings about participating in this conference, Shen Lei, Chairman of the WGDO World Green Design Capital Committee, Director of the Urban and Rural Development and Planning Innovation Research Center of Zhejiang University, and Chief Engineer of China Urban Science Research Association, told Sina Finance,"Sustainable development has become a global consensus. The scale and high level of this conference fully demonstrate that our theme of sustainable development has been widely recognized at home and abroad. I am honored to participate in this conference. Jointly promote global actions in sustainable development."
Shen Lei pointed out that the current challenges facing the world in the ESG field are still very serious. The primary problem is climate warming, whose impact is already felt and can only be effectively addressed through global collaboration. Secondly, countries are moving at different steps in the process of sustainable development. Some countries are actively promoting it, while others are making slow progress and even dragging down global progress. In addition, the international community still needs to help more underdeveloped countries embark on the path of green development.
